Guilty Brown Rice Recipe, why am I sharing this one? Brown Rice is just following the instructions from the packet. Add water, rice, salt optional…. But this one has a little, just a little additional ingredient, oil! It gives the rice a complete different texture and flavor.
What kind of oil? I cooked it with Grape seed oil, coconut oil, it only depends in what am I going to serve with the rice. Grape seed oil when I am serving it as based for a Mushroom Meatballs Rice Bowl. Coconut oil when serving with Coconut Crisp Fried Tofu or Coconut Crisp Baked Tofu. These two recipes are going to be the next I will publish in following weeks. If you want to receive them, remember to subscribe in the form at the end of this post.

Guilty Brown Rice Recipe…
Add the rice, water, salt and oil to the pan or caldero. I believe that the best rice is done in the caldero.
Wait until it boils and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer covered until it is almost dry. Depending on the stove and the season, could take approximately 20 minutes.
Fluff the rice with a fork and let it cook again until is done. Probably 10-15 minutes more.
Temperature and time for the rice will depend even to the humidity where you are. This is an estimate based in the place I live.
Ohh, how many uses this recipe will have….
You can serve them with Beans, what is better than Rice and Beans together?
This recipe is the best one as base for Rice bowls like Coconut Crisp Rice Bowl, Baked Tofu Rice Bowl or Mushroom Meatballs Rice Bowls. Will post the tofu recipes in the next weeks! Subscribe!
Let me a comment in your experience with this recipe in the comments session. How you served it? Did you try any other of the Rice bowls or may be you have any question…
Until next time!
